Meet The Founders
After 30 years as an executive, Bret Harris joined forces with Travis Cariveau, an experienced corporate recruiter, to form a boutique recruiting firm called Signature Hire. With their combined experience finding and vetting talent, Bret and Travis developed the "Signature Process," a proven method that goes above and beyond the traditional recruiting process to ensure that you make the right hire every time.

Bret lives in Gilbert, Arizona where he and his wife Candace have raised five children. Married since 1992, they now love a growing brood of grandchildren.
Bret earned a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Hotel Management and managed hotels for a few years, including the opening of the New York, New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas before hanging up his suit and tie to reset his career.
As the COO of a construction subcontractor in Arizona (Structural Steel) for ten years, he worked hard to establish operational processes and teams that would lead to profitable growth year over year. Prior to construction, Bret spent twelve years with a national company that manufactures and sells plantation shutter window coverings. His roles included Director of National Retail Development and Wholesale Marketing as well as VP of Manufacturing.
Now, as an executive recruiter, Bret can draw on his experiences as an operational leader to understand and help company leaders around the country get the right people on the bus.

Travis resides in Minnesota with his wife Michelle. Married since 2014, they have three sons. They previously lived in Arizona where he connected with Bret to later form Signature Hire. Travis and his family moved back to Minnesota in 2020 to raise their family.
Travis earned a bachelor’s degree in technology management from St. Cloud State University. He played shortstop for the baseball team.
Travis comes from a family of construction. After graduating, he started his career as a Machinist at a small shop in Minnesota. He and his wife desired to change course, so they moved to Arizona where Travis started his recruiting career. Having successfully recruited talent for construction, manufacturing, and engineering firms since 2011, his developed skills as an executive recruiter are invaluable and will make a progressive difference in finding talent for our clients around the country.
